Creative & Economic Birthday Card Ideas

On the KoolSongs album there are three tracks that are based on books for children, and all of the songs will sing your child's name to them. So give this gift and watch as your child slips the disk into whatever music player they choose. The look on your son or daughter's face will be, as they say, priceless.

Fred Clark: The song was "Just Another Day" (the title track of the album). Learn Guitar Fast With These Very Simple Tips was "Manifest of the Heart", which had some screenings at the Tivoli and submitted to some film festivals. It did not see a wide release and was not released on video/dvd, but I got a lot of publicity out of it and it provided me with other opportunities.

I will continually be baffled by the power of these DVDs. In my eyes, Baby Einstein is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to parenting. When nothing else seems to work, I put my baby in front of the television with a blanket and put on Baby Mozart. Sometimes I feel guilty for doing this, but in the middle of the night I have even played it twice through because the peace it provides is so wonderful.

Loretta Snyder: You recently released a children's album. What inspired you to go in this direction and are there going to be more children's albums in the future?

My second album (Living In Dakin's Neighborhood) has more of a modern folk-rock Byrds kind of a sound to it with some Irish influenced songs and a great power pop-rock song, "Unrequited Love".

Like the previous song, this one also has movement, an outdoor theme and is easy to learn. As far as action movements, I have seen people do this several ways. It is easy to figure out actions on your own for this song. This is also a call and response song. A leader sings the first phrase, (four syllables) and everyone else repeats after him.

Music- Most moms would enjoy a CD as present as long as it's not kids songs! Choose an artist she likes or a popular soundtrack. If in doubt buy an iTunes card!

Tena: My girlfriend is a 3rd grade teacher and she said her students like to pick their noses in class. So I came up with a fun way to give a lesson on personal hygiene with "Booger Boogie". "The Booger Boogie" is the physical act of grabbing a tissue.
